The original bag used to create this piece was an authentic vintage LV "Drouot" from the late 90's. New handles and gold tone, hardware, and black lambskin lining were added. It features a handmade, removable shearling insert and removable crossbody strap

Reimagined vintage LV, 1990s
Original monogram canvas has been reworked with new black leather trim and structured black leather handles. Gold-tone hardware provides contrast and emphasizes the bag’s architectural proportions. The interior is fully lined in black lambskin.
The design includes a removable crossbody strap and a detachable shearling drawstring pouch with pom detailing. The insert may be worn independently or placed within the bag, allowing for variation in form and use.
This reinterpretation balances archival elements with contemporary construction, emphasizing restraint, adaptability, and material clarity.
