The original bag used to create this piece was an authentic vintage LV "Drouot" from the late 90's. New handle, strap, gold tone hardware, and lambskin lining were added. It features a hand stitched "boot" pattern.
Design
A reimagined late-1990s LV silhouette, transformed through craftsmanship.
The original monogram canvas is paired with exterior leather straps from an authentic LV Keepall. The detachable short handle and accompanying shoulder strap are hand-cut and hand-stitched from the same Keepall leather, lined in matching washed navy lambskin for a quiet interior contrast.
A hand-embroidered boot-stitch motif redefines the canvas, paying homage to Western craft and couture handwork.
All hardware has been replaced with solid brass, grounding the piece with weight and permanence.
